Van Rooi Livestock is a trusted name for the purchase and sale of pigs, piglets, sows and cattle, both nationally and internationally.
From our base in Brabant, we oversee the entire supply chain process, collaborating closely with farmers to identify opportunities for optimisation. Our strong relationships with Dutch livestock farmers ensure a stable and reliable supply.
Every day, pigs, piglets and sows are collected, sorted and transported to destinations in the United Kingdom and abroad at the collection centre on Herendijk in Lieshout. We do this using our own transport, so that we can ensure animal-friendly logistics and minimise food miles.

Through our close contact with both farmers and abattoirs, we optimise the entire process, from rearing and transport to slaughter. We ensure that the animal passes through the supply chain in a responsible manner, with respect for the animal and a fair price for the farmer.
With our background as livestock farmers, we know exactly what goes on in the farmyard. We understand the practicalities, challenges and opportunities faced by our farmers.
With our own fleet of vehicles, we can respond to these immediately. This gives us the freedom to handle animals with care and offer a tailor-made service for every transport job. Without depending on others and with the certainty that we do what we promise.

We purchase livestock directly from Dutch farmers whom we know personally and communicate with daily.

We transport the livestock to our abattoirs using our own vehicles. This enables us to monitor the welfare of the animals.
