In-house transport
With our own fleet of vehicles, trained staff and experienced drivers, we have complete control over transport. This means that, as a pig farmer, you no longer have to worry about transport times. We will be there when you expect us to be.
During the loading process, we focus on the welfare of the pigs. We handle them calmly and respectfully to minimise their stress during transport.

We are involved throughout the entire process. From ensuring animal health to breeding, slaughtering and processing. This close-knit collaboration allows us to establish continuity and achieve positive results together.

Data as a management tool
Each pig is given a unique number, making it possible to trace its entire journey from birth to slaughter.
Using data from the abattoirs, we can work with pig farmers to focus on key areas for possible improvement in the barn. This allows us to improve the health and welfare of the animals and achieve maximum returns.

Certified quality
Reliability is our top priority. Our pig farmers are required to comply with the clearly defined agreements of Holland Varken and, preferably, with the requirements of Beter Leven and Verde Varken. This ensures that we continue to uphold high standards in terms of animal welfare, food safety, sustainability and consumer confidence.

07Fast and transparent
Fair prices & payments
We use a transparent and reliable payment system. Every pig farmer receives an invoice within a few days of delivery, based on the actual delivery and the quality delivered. Thanks to our accurate registration of the origin of each pig, complete transparency is guaranteed as well as correct payment

Van Rooi regularly organises events for pig farmers.
